David at Upsidedown Hippo has proposed a diabolical contest where participants try to imitate his blogging style. He'll post the entries next to one of his own, and people try to find the real David. If someone stumps his readership, that's how that person wins the prize, which is an Amazon gift certificate.
It's so arch! He's like the archest person I know.
I don't know if I will be able to imitate him to win the prize.
I've decided, though, that if anyone wants to try and replicate my own blogging style, they, too, can be eligible for their choice of glamorous prizes. These include: A crocheted scarf that reminds me of bumblebees, a selection of vintage ladies' shoes, a mongrel puppy (this prize available to Michigan residents only), or the contents of The Mystery Box.
